Two Konik mares in nature reserve Vitinu Plavas in Latvia.
The Koniks are being treated as wild horses and receive almost no human care. Together with a herd of cattle they live in the reserve and through their grazing and walking keep the area from turning into a huge reedfield, and so creating a higher level of biodiversity. |
