Artist's Comments

Yes, I'm back! My laptop crashed, I lost everything on it and was offline for two weeks. But at least it works again. Luckily I made a backup of most of my photographs!

A Friesian stallion at a fair called Horse and Heritage 2008 in Holland. Gorgeous horse. But he was very popular and difficult to photograph because of all the girls that wanted to pet him... I like this one though. No girls.

Edit: I feel there is some confusion about the halter of this guy. And so here's a little explanation. The red things on his halter actually arent hearts but the leaves of waterlillies. Its the national symbol of the province of Friesland, Holland (origin of the Friesian horse). They are called "pompebled" in Friesian. And are used on everything that comes from the province.

Oh god.

This stunned me in thumbnails and I'm drooling all over it close up. It just looks so powerful, so mysterious with his forelock over his eye
